Born on January 26, 1988 in Wilmbledon Village, England, Maria Antonia Sampaio Rosa holds passion and determination for her dreams of becoming an
internationally known singer. Mia Rose has been singing her heart out since the age of six, but it isn't all she's credited for. Mia has also done some modeling work, early in her career, for an agency called Young Faces of London. Short after that, Mia left the UK to attend school in Portugal. She kept working hard for her dreams by performing and participating in theatre, concerts (with audiences of about 800+), arts and cultural festivals, and writing and composing her own music.
Residing back in the UK, Mia became even more determined to launch her solo music career. In late December of 2006, Mia began her monumental rise to
fame on popular media site, YouTube.com. She posted videos of herself singing along
to tracks, karaoke style, to expose her talent. In only about three weeks, Mia became a hit with YouTubers, leading her to being the #1 most subscribed to musician on YouTube.
More recently, Mia's hard work finally payed off when she posted a video on her account making a special announcement (click to view video)
; Mia Rose had been signed to NextSelection. Now, Mia is hard at work on her debut album,
and launching her career. There is no doubt that Mia Rose will meet great success in the music industry!
